"When the Swallows Come Back to Capistrano"

The 2007 Swallows Day Parade will be held this Saturday, March 24th. The Fiesta de la Golondrinas celebrates the legend of the return of the swallows to the San Juan Capistrano Mission on St. Joseph's day.

The Parade takes place in downtown San Juan Capistrano. This is the nation's largest non-motorized parade. It is totally organized and presented by the San Juan Capistrano Fiesta Association. Arrive early; most street closures are by 10:00 a.m. The parade begins promptly at 11:00 a.m.

For more information, visit any of the above linked webpages or call 949.493.1976.

Reminder: Due to the large number of people attending the parade and related activities, access to the library is severely limited so we will be closed on Saturday. The nearby Dana Point and Laguna Niguel branches will be open. We will reopen for our usual hours on Sunday, March 25th from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
